A fine mist of Rose Dew toner catching the light, rose petals drifting through the air

A fine mist.
A moment of calm.

One light press settles over the skin like morning dew — a cool, weightless layer of hydration you can feel the second it lands.

A note from Lauren, founder

Bottled straight from the garden.

I've always loved what a splash of rose water does for tired skin — that little gasp of cool, the way everything calms down. I just never loved what was hiding in most of the bottles on the shelf: alcohol, synthetic fragrance, a long list I couldn't read.

So I made the one I wanted. Real rose hydrosol as the base — not water with fragrance added — layered with aloe, vitamin B5, and the kind of gentle humectants that pull moisture in and hold it there. No drying alcohol. No added perfume. Just the soft, true scent of fresh roses.

Made by hand, in small batches, in my Idaho kitchen — same as everything else we make.

What's inside

Hydration, simplified.

A short list of ingredients chosen to do one thing well — replenish moisture and calm the skin. Here's what each one is for.

🌹

Rose hydrosol

Rosa Damascena flower water — distilled from real roses, not water with fragrance dropped in. It's the base of the whole formula, lightly astringent and naturally calming, with the soft true scent of fresh petals.

🌿

Aloe vera

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice — the classic after-sun soother. It cools on contact and helps comfort skin that feels tight, warm, or reactive.

💧

Vitamin B5

Panthenol — a humectant that draws water into the skin and supports a softer, more comfortable feel. A quiet workhorse in any good hydrating formula.

🍃

Glycerin + propanediol

A gentle humectant duo that pulls moisture in and helps it stay — without any greasy or sticky finish. This is the part that keeps skin feeling dewy, not dry.

Sodium PCA & lactate

Your skin already makes these — they're part of its natural moisturizing factor. Adding them back helps the surface hold onto water and stay balanced through the day.

🌼

Allantoin

A skin-softening soother long used to calm the look of redness and rough texture. It rounds out the formula on the gentle, comforting end.

Full ingredients

Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Propanediol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid.

On the last three: because Rose Dew is water-based, it needs a small, gentle preservative system (phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid) to keep every bottle fresh and safe to use. It's paraben-free, sulfate-free, and free of added fragrance and drying alcohol — the things we'd never put in.
How to use

Three steps. One breath.

01

Cleanse first

Start with freshly washed skin — your Tyme face bar is perfect here. Pat dry, but leave it a little damp.

02

Mist & press in

Hold six to eight inches away and spray two or three times. Press gently into the skin with your palms — don't wipe it off.

03

Layer & refresh

Follow with serum and moisturizer while skin is still damp. Re-mist any time of day for an instant cool reset.

Build the routine

Where Rose Dew fits.

Toner is the in-between step — the splash of hydration that helps everything after it sink in better. Cleanse, mist, then layer.

Good questions

Things people ask.

No. A lot of toners use drying alcohol to make skin feel "tight and clean" — we left it out completely. Rose Dew is built on rose hydrosol with humectants like glycerin and vitamin B5, so it hydrates instead of stripping.

Right after cleansing and before serum. Think cleanse → mist → serum → moisturizer. Misting onto slightly damp skin and pressing it in gives the steps after it more to work with.

Soft, fresh roses — the real scent of the rose hydrosol itself, not added perfume. There's no synthetic fragrance in the formula, so it reads clean and natural rather than sweet or heavy, and it fades quickly once it's on.

It's formulated to be gentle — aloe, allantoin, and panthenol are all on the soothing end, and there's no alcohol or added fragrance. Skin is personal, though, so if you're reactive we always recommend a quick patch test on the inner arm first.

Yes — morning and night as part of your routine, and any time in between when skin feels dry or tired. Kept cool, it makes a lovely mid-afternoon or post-sun refresher.

With daily use most people get a couple of months from a bottle. Store it out of direct sun; because it's made in small batches with a gentle preservative system, use it within about 12 months of opening. A spot in the fridge keeps the mist extra cooling.
